Out Youth mourns the deaths of five teenagers who recently committed suicide after suffering bullying and harassment because they were gay or believed to be gay. The teenagers are: Seth Walsh, 13, of Tehachapi, CA; Billy Lucas, 15, of Greensburg, IN; Asher Brown, 13, of Houston, TX; Tyler Clementi, 18, a college freshman from New Jersey; and Raymond Chase, 19, a college sophomore at Johnson and Wales.

Out Youth is the only organization in greater Central Texas providing programs and services specifically designed to ensure that all LGBT young people are safe and can live openly with the support they need to reach their full potential.

Our counseling, peer support and safe space programs promote self-esteem, confidence and community among all young people.
