Court Appointed Special Advocates are:
Adult advocates for abused children.
Valuable assets to the Juvenile Judges who decide the lives of these children.
Continuity of adult contact for children who need it most.
For some children, the only adult who has ever stood up for them.
Altrustic volunteers of every age, demographic, gender and race. They are trained 40 hours, sworn in by Judges as Officers of the Court & give countless hours to cases; standing by the children from 1 year to 10, in some cases.
Children who are served are from birth to 18 years of age.
Our mission: to provide trained court appointed volunteers who advocate for the best interests of abused or neglected children in the juvenile court system.
