Blind Dog Haven rescues primarily small dogs who are blind and/or have other disabilities. These dogs are at risk because of their disabilities. Many are young and healthy other than being blind. Some have other treatable health conditions like seizure disorders or diabetes, are deaf or hard of hearing, or have other disabilities.
Blind Dog Haven’s goal is to find adoptive homes for or provide sanctuary for these small dogs who are at risk. Many of these dogs need critical medical attention (especially expensive dentals) and this is our greatest cost, along with general care and maintenance expenses, and transportation to get the dogs from shelters throughout the United States to one of our foster homes.
In addition we are always in need of foster homes, so if you or someone you know has interested in being a foster person please email [email protected]
Thank You,
Dixie
